Art and Meditation go hand in hand - to finding where your thoughts should land.
To put down on paper what your mind can show - takes strength to accept what you see and what you should know.
The trick if any is to open your mind and meditate – but never forget the world you need only you can create.
Work with your creation and any words to help to start a change – and see what is around and mayhap already within your range.
This workshop is not for those who don't want to find - what is buried and hidden within their mind.
It can bring to the surface what is buried down deep - are you willing to take that faith leap.
Before you read further I have to let you know it can only ever be a one to one workshop, because technically it falls under Pathworking. Things may surface during our time together which only you can make the decision if you wish to share them with family and friends. So please if that is ok with you then read on:
Why did I decide to do this workshop? Because when things get too much as they often do in this crazy world we live in I grab a piece of paper and my pens and start to draw. The peace that washes over me is way too amazing to describe, but I know, that for just a while I can switch off my brain and just let my pen do the talking. It could be for 5 minutes or it could be all day.
Creative expression for meditation, relaxation, problem solving and stress relief can and does encompass many forms – artwork, drawing, painting, sculpting, writing, music, dance – it literally is any way that you can express yourself creatively.
Anything, which can make you an individual, with individual thoughts, ideas and ultimately as I said problem solving and stress relief. Because, seriously, who wants to go through life worrying about the slightest thing. Believe me I have been there, seen it, done it and got the t-shirt!
Many people say to me but I cannot draw! My answer is what is drawing? You don't have to be a Monet or Constable to be able to be an artist. I cannot see half of what other people see in my artwork and on many occasions they cannot see what I see – who is right and who is wrong – the answer – no one. It is like everything in this world it's a matter of perspective. It's not what you draw, it's what you release.

A 4 hour workshop - theory but mostly practical.
One to One only.
Tuesday - Saturdays - 9am - 10am start
£60 in advance includes any items made and Refreshments.
